Simply said, if children are excited and highly motivated about a subject or an instrument, they will learn much faster and remember more than if they did not have that kind of enthusiasm.
Our camp is structured in such a way where our campers are extremely motivated and excited to learn music. We foster an environment like this by making every day a high-energy, high excitement experience. Campers get to choose the instrument of their choice and the songs that they will learn. With this structure, we have found that our campers learn their instrument very quickly and are usually playing a song by the second week of camp.
