About Us

Having taught hundreds of hours of private music lessons to children of all ages in South Florida, Santiago Jaramillo realized that the traditional way that ‘rock’ instruments (drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, vocals) were being taught to children did not yield effective results. Most kids that he taught had been involved in music classes before yet had quit after only a few weeks- kids lost interest, became bored, and refused to continue the lessons. He quickly ascertained the problem: If kids are not motivated and excited about learning an instrument, they simply do not learn.

Santiago learned that one of the most fulfilling and motivating aspects of learning an instrument is learning that elusive first song. He found out that once kids reached the point where they could play their first song and could show off to their friends and family their new skill, they fell in love with music and became excited to come to every lesson.

Realizing the opportunity that a summer camp could yield for kids learning an instrument, he then launched a pilot program in Weston, Florida. The program was a wild success, reaching maximum capacity in the first two weeks of camp.

Both parents and kids begged for the return of the program as there are little to no other music summer camp options available, so the program will be back for a second year in South Florida and opening a new location in Indianapolis, Indiana. Parents rated their child’s camp experience a 9.6 out of 10.0, while kids rated their camp experience an average of 9.8 out of 10.0.

We are pleased to offer our one-of-a-kind music programs again in South Florida and our new location in Heritage Christian School in Indianapolis, Indiana!
